GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - It's an election day in Michigan.
Polls for the August primary opened at 7 a.m.
Among items on ballots today: A public safety millage in Muskegon Township and a $49 million bond request for Holland Public Schools.
Polling place information and sample ballots can be found on the Secretary of State's website.
Identification is not required for voters, but clerks say having an ID card will speed up the process.
Polls will remain open until 8 p.m.
Absentee ballots must be returned by the time polls close.
