Big Lake Humane Society seeking foster homes for +20 dogs during repairs

Big Lake Humane Society has one week to find homes for dozens of animals as their building undergoes required updates and repairs.

The shelter has been operating for 45 years, often at or near full capacity. In addition to acting as a shelter, Big Lake Humane Society also offers affordable spaying and neutering services, treating hundreds of animals every month.

Repairs have been scheduled for July 16 through 23. During that time, the building has to be shut down, and more than 20 dogs will require adoptive or foster homes during the temporary closure.
