Trinity Health Grand Rapids Comprehensive Breast Center is receiving a top designation.
The hospital is now one of 36 that have earned the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers designation of Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence.
Breast cancer surgeon Dr. Bess Connors says this means patients don't have to choose between world-class care and being close to home.
The center demonstrated excellence in 49 standards to receive the honor.
