West Ottawa Public Schools are breaking ground on a new community and aquatic center.
A ceremony was held on Monday near the current pool.
The new center is being funded by a voter-approved bond.
The new facility will feature a suspended walking track, a cardio center, a 50-meter competitive pool and more.
The project is expected to be completed by August 2027.
