John Ball Zoo penguin competing in March of the Penguins Madness

John Ball Zoo has a penguin competing in a nationwide tournament for the second year in a row.

March of the Penguins Madness pits flightless birds from zoos across the country against one another in a friendly competition.

Penguins International hosts the competition with a goal of raising awareness of conservation efforts.

This year, Philbert, or Phil, is will compete in the bracket competition.
