John Ball Zoo will once again hold the Lantern Festival.
The zoo is partnering with Tianyu Arts & Culture to light-up their grounds with a mile trail of Asian lanterns this spring.
The event will run from April 9 through June 15 on Wednesdays through Sundays from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
"John Ball Zoo is thrilled to present an even bigger and better Grand Rapids Lantern Festival featuring new lanterns and interactive experiences," said Darci Mitchell, promotions and events manager for the zoo. "These beautiful lanterns tell the intersecting story of wildlife and Asian culture, and we are excited to welcome visitors from across the country for the third consecutive year."
Zoo members will be able to purchase discounted tickets starting February 28 while the general public will be able to access tickets on March 8.
