An 18-year-old is facing murder charges in connection to an incident on Sunday evening in Byron Township.
Marquan Leron Brice is charged with open murder and a weapons charge.
The shooting happened in the Camelot Manor mobile home neighborhood around 5:30 p.m. Kent County Sheriff's Detectives say the incident stemmed from a domestic argument between Brice and the victim, 36-year-old Jeffrey Gamble. The suspect and the victim lived together.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived but was quickly found and taken into custody.
Gamble was taken to a local hospital but died due to his injuries.
