The Grand Haven Department of Public Safety has released the name of a man involved in a standoff Monday on Franklin Avenue at North Beacon Boulevard. It says 54-year-old Mathew Pring of Grand Haven has been arraigned on two counts of felonious assault. He's being held in the Ottawa County Jail. Police say the county's Critical Response Team tried for hours to talk him out of a house before using less than lethal force to take him into custody.
