GR-based manufacturer to receive $700,000 grant; create 100 new jobs

A Grand Rapids based protection equipment manufacturer is receiving a $700,000 grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) that will allow them to create 100 new jobs.

HexArmor's Leffingwell Avenue headquarters will utilize the grant to expand and add an additional warehouse and office space which will help facilitate the creation of the new jobs.

It's all part of a major global eleven-point four-million investment being made by HexArmor, whose roots began in Grand Rapids back in 2002 but have since expanded all over the world.
