The city of Grand Rapids is reminding residents to follow odd-even parking restrictions so roads can be plowed efficiently.
Director of Public Works John Gorney says they try to clear local streets in downtime and sometimes the middle of the night is the best time to do that.
The restrictions are designed to allow for some street parking while also giving crews enough room to safely clear snow.
A violation of the rule could also land you a $20 ticket.
