Gift of Life Michigan is announcing some record numbers for the nonprofit from 2024.
The group says 1,119 organs were transplanted last year and 1,960 people donated tissues.
Both figures are records for the organization.
Gift of Life says 533 Michiganders decided to become organ donors, the second-highest number in the group's history.
