Employee stabs manufacturing company president during staff meeting

Fruitport Township Police say a man stabbed the president of a manufacturing company during an employee meeting on Tuesday morning.

The staff meeting at Anderson Express happened around 9:20 a.m.

Officials say a 32-year-old employee stabbed the company president in the side with a knife and they left the building and drove away from the scene.

Police were able to arrest the man 15 minutes later.

The victim is listed in serious but stable condition.
