Grand Rapids City Manager Mark Washington is one of four semifinalist to be the next Dallas city manager.
In a statement, Washington says this is the first job he has applied for since 2018.
Washington says for six years he has been committed to making Grand Rapids the best place to live, work and retire.
The Dallas City Council says finalists will be selected by November 25.
