A man is facing a safe storage violation after a teen accidentally shot himself on Tuesday.
Melvin Tommy-Shawn-Kelly House is charged with a safe storage violation causing injury as well as possession of and intent to deliver a controlled substance.
The incident happened on Tuesday morning near Sherman Street SE and Benjamin Avenue.
Police say a 15-year-old accidentally shot himself in the shoulder but is expected to be okay.
