A Grand Rapids area business is sending equipment from the Iraq War to the Smithsonian.
Consolidated Resource Imaging says they have camera systems from 2005 and 2006 and the Smithsonian asked if they would be willing to donate them.
The company says the systems were used in the Constant Hawk program to collect images of entire cities.
The Smithsonian team reviewed the materials for three years to determine if they were truly historical.
