Wyoming City Council is approving plans for a $105 million battery plant to open at the vacant site 36.
Benteler Automotive plans to open a 317,000-square-foot assembly plant for Ford Transit Van battery components.
The plant was previously approved by the city however, the company made changes to the plans that required new approval.
The plant will employ an estimated 170 people and run five days a week with three shifts.
