Holland and Coldwater have been awarded historic preservation grants from the State Historic Preservation Office.
In partnership with the Holland Museum, the city of Holland will be using the grant to hire a contractor to help repair a damaged roof for an old post office building.
As for the city of Coldwater, they're partnering with the Coldwater Community Center to hire a contractor to conduct a comprehensive structural engineering analysis of the Beech House.
They join five other communities that will each get a chunk of $250,000.
