24-year-old Ricardo Castillo, accused of breaking into a Rockford-area home during the night and stabbing an 11-year-old girl, will have his felony case moved forward and will not have his $2 million bond reduced.
During his court appearance today at the 63rd District Court. Castillo waived his preliminary exam, skyrocketing the case to Kent County Circuit Court.
He now faces, numerous charges, including assault with intent to murder, which could lead to a potential life sentence.
