Lowell implementing odd-even water restrictions

Lowell Charter Township and the city of Lowell are putting odd-even outdoor water restrictions in place through the end of September.

Residents can only water their lawn on odd days if they have an odd address and on even days if they have an even address.

The restriction does not affect water used for drinking or bathing.

The city says the limit is to help minimize the burden on the city's water treatment plant.
