The driver who hit a tow truck driver who was attempting to help a dog on the highway is now facing charges.
Payton Ferris is accused of a moving violation causing death in connection to the November 4 death of Keagan Spencer.
The incident happened on M-6 near Kraft Avenue.
Officers say Spencer was in the median when Ferris lost control of their vehicle and went into the median and hit Spencer.
