GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A pair of Grand Rapids shootings from yesterday remain under investigation this morning.
Police say a 15-year-old boy was found shot to death on the southeast side last night after 8 p.m.
The discovery was made on Umatilla Street near Madison Avenue. It's not clear what prompted the shooting.
Earlier in the morning, two people were shot dead and a third suffered unknown injuries near a concert venue downtown.
That shooting happened after 1 a.m.
"I went and opened the curtain and seen there was a whole bunch of commotion in this parking lot over here, and (then I saw) two people fall," Michael Howard, a security worker at the Intersection, told WOOD-TV.
Howard said he later saw a sheet covering one body.
No suspects have been identified.
Anyone with information is being urged to call the Grand Rapids Police Department or Silent Observer.
