Competency exam requested for custodian facing child porn charges

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - An attorney who represents a former Forest Hills Public Schools custodian who is facing a child pornography charge has asked for a competency exam for his client.

Bradley Arkesteyn's lawyer claims his client is having trouble understanding the criminal charge he faces.

Arkesteyn was arrested in March after prosecutors say he shared child pornography with a federal agent.
