LANSING (WOOD-AM) - Attorney General Dana Nessel says more arrests are anticipated after six people were taken into custody in connection with a theft ring that stole more than 400 vehicles across the Detroit and Grand Rapids areas.
The vehicles were taken from dealerships and manufacturer overflow lots.
The six charged are 21-year-old Kevin Stevenson, 21-year-old Desmond Wilson, 20-year-old Dejhon Bush, 25-year-old Joseph Doyle, 20-year-old Braylen Green and 18-year-old Zamarr Johnson.
Seven vehicles were recovered when they were arrested.
Nessel says the stolen vehicles were often used for other crimes.
Losses were estimated at $30 million.
