GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Polls are now open for the May 7 election in Michigan.

Polls will remain open until 8 p.m.

It's now too late to drop absentee ballots in the mail. They must be returned to a clerk's office or an election drop box by the time polls close.

Ballots have recall and millage questions, bond proposals and other items.

Ottawa County Commissioner Lucy Ebel is among those facing a recall, which was launched by those against Ottawa Impact.

Voters in Lowell have a $104 million bond question for Lowell Area Schools.

Kentwood voters will decide the fate of a public safety millage.
