SAINT JOSEPH TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - A 42-year-old semi-truck driver from Tennessee is dead after getting shot by an officer in St. Joseph Township, apparently after a "violent altercation."
Before that incident, the man's truck crashed into a home and a police vehicle.
The officer had minor injuries and is now on administrative leave, which is standard procedure.
