GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A Montcalm County high school marching band was slated to return home last night from a trip to Florida after their bus caught fire.
All people on board the bus, including 35 Carson City-Crystal High School students, were safe after two tires blew out and smoke filled the cabin late Sunday.
The vehicle and belongings were significantly damaged.
