Central Michigan University is starting a four-year nursing degree program.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program will accept 30 students each semester starting in January 2025.
CMU says jobs for registered nurses are expected to expand by almost eight percent between 2020 and 2030.
Trinity Health Grand Rapids and Covenant HealthCare are signing on as partners for the new program.
