Cherry Health says a security breach caused the online scheduling issues the health care provider was experiencing.
The system says the disruption also included unauthorized access to some data stored in their network.
The healthcare provider does not yet know what information was compromised.
Cherry Health says if patients were impacted by the breach they will be notified directly.
