Former Representative Justin Amash is launching an exploratory committee looking at a possible run for U.S. Senate.
Amash announced on X that he launched Justin Amash for Senate Exploratory Committee.
The committee will help him decide if he will enter the race for the Senate seat vacated by Senator Debbie Stabenow.
Amash previously represented Michigan's 3rd Congressional District.
He left the Republican Party in 2019 over ideological differences.
