The Transportation Security Administration at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport says they caught more firearms in 2023 than they did the year before.
TSA officers caught 19 guns at checkpoints in the airport in 2023.
In 2022, 12 guns were caught.
However, 22 guns were caught at checkpoints in the airport in 2021.
