The Big Ten Conference is announcing that the University of Michigan Football team has violated their Big Ten Sportsmanship Policy.
The conference says Michigan conducted an impermissible, in-person scouting operation that lasted multiple year and created an unfair competitive advantage.
The Big Ten says they are imposing a penalty that head coach Jim Harbaugh will not be allowed to attend the remaining regular season games.
Harbaugh will be allowed to attend practices and other team activities.
