East Grand Rapids tested out early, in-person voting in this month's election after voters approved the idea last year.
EGR was one of 12 communities piloting the early voting.
East Grand Rapids Clerk Lori Parmenter says she wanted to be prepared for 2024.
Only 213 of the 3,226 voters chose to take advantage of the new option.
Parmenter says it was a good opportunity for voters and election workers to familiarize themselves with the process.
