MUSKEGON (WOOD-AM) - Yesterday's snow has prompted a list of school closures on the lakeshore.

Consumers Energy says around 41,000 of its customers are without electricity as of 6 a.m. Most affected customers are in Muskegon County.
The National Weather Service says areas of Muskegon County saw up to nine inches of snow.
Elsewhere, 6.8 inches fell in Grand Haven and five inches fell in Holland.
