The community will gather Thursday night to honor those fighting against blood cancer and to remember those who have died.
The Light the Night event will be held in Calder Plaza from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Individuals will hold lanterns to help raise money to support individuals affected by the cancer.
Red lanterns will be for supporters, white lanterns will be for survivors and yellow lanterns are for individuals who have lost someone to blood cancer.
