EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Security Risk Management Consultants has provided a list of 14 recommendations to strengthen campus security following last February's mass shooting on the Michigan State University campus.
Among other things, it mentions new procedures for security lockdowns, calls for installation of storeroom function locks on all classrooms, the identification of protection zones and developing a video surveillance standard.
Three students were fatally shot and five others injured by a 43-year-old man who later died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound when confronted by police off campus.
