West Michigan law enforcement has busted a ring of catalytic converter thefts totaling around $4,700.
Christy Johnson, Debra Orr, Samantha Chapman and Jessie Godfrey are accused of stealing the car pieces and then selling them to Westside Metal Recycling on Hall Street.
The company says they had not heard of the group and they buy catalytic converters all the time.
The group is charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and violating the Scrap Metal Regulatory Act.
