A local orchard is still recovering after hail and strong winds damaged part of their crop earlier this summer.
Railside Orchards and Red Barn Market president Aaron Roth says after the hail storm came through the area in June, they decided to let the fruit drop off the trees on its own instead of wasting time and labor.
The orchard says they have lost about 40 acres worth of crops due to frost, drought and hail this year.
Despite the losses, the apple crop is reportedly strong across the state this year.
