GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A 22-year-old man linked to multiple car thefts and business break-ins has been ordered to spend between five and 30 years in prison.
Prosecutors say Jerome Cross took part in at least thirty burglaries and a dozen vehicle thefts across metro Grand Rapids.
The most-serious charge against Cross, conducting a criminal enterprise, is a two-decade felony, but the maximum was increased to 30 years due to his criminal history.
At the time of his arrest, Cross had served probation terms for two felony convictions in Kent County.
