Allegan County Sheriff Frank Baker says a deputy who was injured while making an arrest was discharged from the intensive care unit this week.
Baker says the deputy was transferred to a different facility for physical rehabilitation.
The deputy, whose name has not been released, was injured on September 11 while attempting to arrest Christopher Gerou.
Gerou is charged with five felonies in connection to the incident.
