The American Red Cross says blood donations are needed urgently amid a national blood shortage.
CEO of the American Red Cross Michigan Region Mary Lynn Foster says nationwide blood supply has fallen by 25 percent since the beginning of August.
She says travel, Hurricane Idalia and back-to-school has led to the decrease.
Officials say donations of all blood types are needed.
