GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Grand Rapids police say a woman was sent to the hospital after getting shot in the leg near Eastern Avenue and Thomas Street yesterday morning.
Officers started getting called around 5:10 a.m.
No suspect information is out. It's also not clear what prompted the shooting.
The woman was sent to the hospital with critical injuries.
