HOLLAND (WOOD-AM) - A man's family is hoping for justice after he suffered multiple injuries in a hit-and-run near 32nd Street and Waverly Road in Holland earlier this month.
Sixty-year-old Gary Bowen's mother, Joyce, tells WOOD-TV he was on his daily five-mile walk to work when he was struck.
"He was laying in the road," she said. "Cars were slowing down and going around him, but not stopping."
The investigation is ongoing. Police say he was struck by someone driving a red Toyota SUV.
