Michigan State Police say two people are injured after a semi truck hit a car and two other trucks on I-96 near Saranac Wednesday.
MSP says the crash happened in the westbound lanes near Nash Highway.
Officials say the semi did not slow down for backed up traffic and rear-ended a car, then hitting a semi, pushing that truck into a third truck.
The driver of the semi was ejected from the vehicle and was airlifted from the scene.
The driver of the car was also taken to the hospital but their injuries are not life-threatening.
