The man linked to the disappearance of Wynter Cole Smith is moving from a hospital to a jail cell.
Rashad Trice is facing several charges in Ingham and Macomb counties including assault with intent to murder, home invasion, unlawful imprisonment, aggravated domestic violence, unlawful driving away of a vehicle, felonious assault and first-degree criminal sexual assault.
Trice was also charged on Friday with kidnapping resulting in death and kidnapping a minor in connection to the death of two-year-old Wynter.
Her body was found Wednesday night in an alley in Detroit after an Amber Alert had been issued for her early Monday morning.
