The Michigan Film Industry Association is holding a social hour and presentation this evening that welcomes any and all individuals working in the multimedia industries
In efforts to promote a potential multimedia incentive program in Michigan, this program would allow for more opportunity to compete against more than 40 U.S. cities and states that already have film incentives established. According to MiFIA Chairman David Haddad, the legislation is still being reviewed for approval.
"Shortly it's going to be revealed and put forward... we have to be rocking and rolling by October 1," Haddad said.
The event will consist of a social hour starting at 6 p.m. followed by a presentation 7 p.m., both of which will be located at Black Pigeon Studios in Grand Rapids.
