An 18-year-old was badly injured after a car accident yesterday afternoon that sent the driver to the hospital.
The woman was attempting to make a left turn near the intersection of 144th Avenue and Wintergreen Drive when she was rear-ended by a vehicle. The collision caused the woman's vehicle to enter opposing traffic, causing a second collision with a third vehicle.
This incident resulted in the 18-year-old being transported to a local hospital with serious injuries as the two other drivers involved were not injured.
