Plans for an arena in downtown Kalamazoo were paused on Tuesday night.
The property for the future arena is currently owned by Kalamazoo County.
Kalamazoo County Commissioners voted on Tuesday to finalize a contract and sell the land to the developers.
However, the initial attempt and a reconsideration failed.
A special meeting is scheduled for Thursday night to discuss the plans.
