Child sent to Grand Rapids with injuries after getting struck near Morley

AETNA TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - A five-year-old is in critical-but-stable condition at Helen Devos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids after getting struck by a vehicle in Mecosta County last night.

The child had been on the side of the road. Sheriff's deputies say the child ran in front of a vehicle driven by a 70-year-old Morley man.

Multiple agencies responded to the incident.
