GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD) - Grand Rapids police say they have a man in custody following allegations that he shot another man in the gut last night.
It happened at the Emerald Creek Apartments south of Burton Street and East Beltline Avenue around 11:45 p.m. It's not clear what prompted the incident.
The victim's injuries are not considered to be life-threatening, GRPD said.
Police say the gun from the shooting was recovered.
