The Muskegon Rescue Mission is preparing for an increase in visitors as the forecast calls for temperatures dropping into the low 20s next week.
Muskegon Rescue Mission executive director Dan Skoglund says they have welcomed 30 additional individuals over the past two days and they expect those numbers to continue to increase.
The rescue has 134 spots for urgent shelter needs.
The mission says they can use floor mats to accommodate those needing shelter as well.
